The Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel is a form of prayer that consists of a series of salutations and prayers directed to St. Michael and the nine choirs of angels. It was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851 and is also known as the Rosary of the Angels.

The chaplet is based on a vision received by Antonia d’Astonac, a Carmelite nun, who was instructed by St. Michael to honor him with nine salutations corresponding to the nine choirs of angels.
