Frankincense is a yellow and yellowish-white natural resin with a very classic scent and it gives off a sweet, spicy fragrance. The fragrance is deep and rich with soft tones.

The natural resin is obtained from different gum trees that belong to the genus Boswellia, in particular the Boswellia Papyrifera. This tree originates from the African countries of Eritrea, Ethiopia and Sudan.

Burning natural resin is a rich sensory experience and it burns on charcoal tablets specifically designed for natural resins burning.

The natural resin should not be used as a food additive or for pharmaceutical purposes.
